Job Description

Role Overview: As a Software Tester with 1 year of experience, you will be responsible for evaluating software applications to ensure they meet the required quality standards. You will work closely with the development team to identify issues, report bugs, and ensure the final product is reliable and user-friendly. Key Responsibilities: - Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results - Identify, record, document, and track bugs - Review and analyze system specifications - Collaborate with QA engineers and developers to improve software quality - Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved - Ensure deliverables meet functional and design specifications - Prepare detailed reports on test outcomes and recommend improvements Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, or related field - 1 year of hands-on experience in software testing - Good understanding of SDLC and STLC - Knowledge of manual testing techniques; exposure to automation is a plus - Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, etc. - Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting is an advantage - Strong attention to detail and analytical skills - Good communication and teamwork skills Additional Company Details: - Job Type: Full-time - Benefits: Health insurance, Provident Fund - Ability to commute/relocate: Trivandrum, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) - Experience Required: Software testing: 1 year (Required), bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla): 1 year (Required), manual testing: 1 year (Required) - Location: Trivandrum, Kerala (Preferred) - Work Location: In person,
