Job Description
- Role Overview: You will be joining the Enterprise Switching organization, which is responsible for delivering top-tier products, including the Catalyst Cat9000 series. These switches are crucial for SD-Access and Cisco's intent-based networking architecture, offering the required bandwidth, speed, and scale for hybrid work environments. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and integrating products used by top-tier Enterprises globally. Key Responsibilities: - Understand software system specifications and develop sophisticated test plans - Utilize strong programming knowledge in Python/C/C++ and AI/ML to develop modular and scalable automation for functional/solution requirements - Implement CI/CD, Jenkins, Test-driven development, and Test as a service approach with flexible and modular automation - Experience in configuring/fixing Protocols such as ISIS/OSPF, BGP, L2/L3 VPN, EVPN, Segment Routing, IPv6, MPLS-LDP/RSVP-TE, Multicast, SNMP, Telemetry, gNMI, gRPC, Netconf & OpenConfig Yang Models - Have 7 - 12 years of proven experience as a software test engineer in computer networking Qualifications Required: - Experience in understanding software system specifications and developing sophisticated test plans - Strong programming knowledge (Python/C/C++), git, AI/ML for developing modular and scalable automation to meet functional/solution requirements - Experience in CI/CD, Jenkins, Test-driven development, Test as a service approach with flexible and modular automation - Experience in configuring/fixing Protocols: ISIS/OSPF, BGP, L2/L3 VPN, EVPN, Segment Routing, IPv6, MPLS-LDP/RSVP-TE, Multicast, SNMP, Telemetry, gNMI, gRPC, Netconf & OpenConfig Yang Models - 7 - 12 years of proven experience as a software test engineering in computer networking Additional Company Details: At Cisco, innovation has been at the core for the past 40 years.
