Roles and Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
Prepare statutory financial statements as per IND AS, including relevant notes to accounts.
Coordinate with external auditors and facilitate audits of financial statements.
Report IFRS financials for group consolidation and support audit processes.
Manage stakeholders including statutory, internal, and group auditors to ensure smooth audit closures.
Act as a subject matter expert on accounting and financial reporting matters; stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance.
Accounting Function
Supervise accounting activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Ensure adherence to financial procedures and internal controls.
Oversee month-end closing and ensure accuracy across the trial balance.
Review monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L and Balance Sheet; prepare reports for CFO.
Publish Power BI dashboards to leadership highlighting financial performance.
Investigate and resolve financial statement queries; support ad-hoc requests from stakeholders.
Drive automation and process improvements in the accounting function.
Required Skills
Chartered Accountant with strong knowledge of IND AS and IFRS.
Proficient in financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and lead a team.
Comfortable working with large datasets and Excel-based analysis.
