Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior Accountant specializing in Vessel Accounting at Fleet Management India Private Limited, you will be an integral part of our global team. Your role will involve managing the financial reporting for a diverse fleet of vessels, ensuring compliance with company policies and implementing best accounting practices. You will work closely with clients, internal departments, and stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely financial information. Key Responsibilities: - Fully responsible for vessel accounting of at least 15 vessels, including raising fund requests, managing day-to-day accounting of invoices, and processing month-end adjustment entries. - Prepare monthly vessel financial accounts, cash flow statements, budget variance reports, and other financial reports for review by superiors. - Timely submission of Vessel Accounting Reports to customers, addressing their queries, and coordinating with other departments to gather necessary information. - Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Qualifications Required: - University Graduate in Accounting, Finance, or related fields. - Minimum of 5-7 years" experience in the Accounting industry, with preference given to candidates with shipping experience. - Proficiency in preparing Financial Reports, Cash Flow Reports, Budget vs. Actual Reports, etc. - Working knowledge of ERP systems like Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms is preferred.
