Job Description:

  • Assesses malfunctions of hardware and/or software applications for the purpose of determining appropriate actions to maintain computer, network, and database operations.
  • Installation & post configuration of MS SQL Server
  • Build MS SQL Server database scheme, tables, procedures and permissions.
  • Creates, tests, and executes data management languages.
  • Develop database utilities and automate reporting.
  • Analyze and sustain capacity and performance requirements.
  • Monitor systems and performance for availability.
  • Manage backup, clustering, mirroring, replication and failover.
  • Perform maintenance operations daily, weekly and monthly on SQL servers databases, and information systems for the purpose of ensuring efficient program operations.
  • Perform database backups and restorations and recover corrupted databases.
  • Implement and maintain database security and encryption.
  • Develop, manage and test database and information system backup and recovery plans.
  • Develop standards and policies for data entry and ensure compliance.
  • Create/modify SSIS packages
  • SSRSPower BI
  • SQL Always On
  • Automated day-to-day maintenance activities using T-SQL/PowerShell

Qualifications

  • Have good working knowledge in MS Office applications
  • Be able to adjust quickly and smoothly to changing priorities and conditions
  • Have ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make suggestions for improvements
  • Have strong analytical skills; be able to interpret data, identify trends, and make suggestions for improvements.

  • Immediate to 15 day's notice period Joiner Preferred.
