Job Title: QA Engineer (Automation + Functional Testing)

Experience Required: 56 years

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer with strong expertise in functional testing and test automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in API testing, automation frameworks, and database validations, ensuring high-quality product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Perform API testing using Postman and Rest Assured.
• Automate test cases using Selenium with Java; contribute to framework design and maintenance.
• Validate data integrity and perform database testing through SQL queries.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure requirements coverage.
• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
• Contribute to CI/CD integration of automated tests.
• Explore and implement new testing tools and practices (e.g., Playwright nice to have).

Required Skills

• Strong experience in functional testing and test planning.
• Hands-on expertise with Postman and Rest Assured for API automation.
• Proficiency in Java with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
• Solid knowledge of database testing (SQL queries, data validation).
• Experience in writing and maintaining automation test scripts.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.).
• Good problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Playwright or other modern test automation frameworks.
• Exposure to performance testing tools.
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing solutions.
