Job Description
- As an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with a strong background in test automation, your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for web, API, and/or mobile applications. You will collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure comprehensive test coverage, execute automated test suites, and analyze results to report, track, and verify software defects. Additionally, you will contribute to continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), maintain and improve existing test frameworks, write clear documentation for test plans and cases, and participate in Agile development processes. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and/or mobile applications. - Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Execute automated test suites and analyze results to report, track, and verify software defects. - Contribute to continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) by integrating automated tests into pipelines. - Maintain and improve existing test frameworks and ensure scalability and reliability. - Write clear documentation for test plans, test cases, and test results. - Participate in Agile development processes. - Collaborate with product management and developer teams to develop a comprehensive set of tests. - Analyze failed tests and manage defects using the bug reporting tool. - Perform extensive functional, integration, and UI testing. - Experience in GUI Testing, Cross-browser testing, regression testing, Integration testing. - Ability to perform deeper root cause analysis of issues. - Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. - Good communication and presentation skills. - Knowledge of Build Deployments and setting up QA environment. Required Qualifications: - Basic qualification in BE/B.Tech/MCA/MCS. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA automation. - Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar. - Programming/scripting experience in Java, Python, JavaScript, or a comparable language. - Experience with API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc. - Experience with version control systems like Git. - Strong understanding of software QA methodologies and practices. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner. - Familiarity with BDD/TDD approaches using Cucumber, SpecFlow, or similar. - Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - ISTQB or similar QA certification.
