QA Automation Tester @ ICICI Lombard

Job Description

Role Overview: As a QA Automation Tester at Dectree Infotech Pvt. Ltd., you will be responsible for executing automated test cases for web, mobile, and API applications. Your role will involve writing, maintaining, and updating automation test scripts, debugging failed scripts, performing regression testing, and ensuring high-quality software delivery. You will collaborate with manual testers and developers to validate fixes and enhancements while ensuring that all automated test cases align with business requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Execute automated test cases for web, mobile, and API applications. - Write, maintain, and update automation test scripts based on project requirements. - Debug failed scripts, identify root causes, and work with developers to resolve issues. - Perform regression testing and participate in CI/CD pipeline executions. - Prepare, document, and share detailed test execution reports. - Ensure all automated test cases align with business requirements and test coverage. - Collaborate with manual testers and developers to validate fixes and enhancements. - Maintain test environments and ensure smooth execution cycles. Key Requirements: - Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress. - Proficiency in at least one scripting language: Java, Python, or JavaScript. - Knowledge of test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, Mocha, or Jest. - Experience in API testing & automation (Postman, Rest Assured, or similar). - Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps). - Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. - Strong debugging skills with an execution-oriented mindset. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MCA, or a related technical field. - 2-4 years of experience as an Automation Tester. - QA/Automation certification (preferred but not mandatory).
