Job Description
- As an Accounting QA Specialist based in Pune, your role involves reviewing month-end closing, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation for multiple entities with a high level of complexity as a backup. You will also review departmental accounting functions, file uploads, formatting, and be an expert in systems like C3 templates/reports. Additionally, you will review supporting schedules, budget changes, year-end close procedures, and provide feedback on the performance of Accountants to the Supervisor. Your responsibilities will also include reviewing a sampling of monthly financial statements for quality assurance and striving to understand nuances of other branches. Key Responsibilities: - Review month-end closing, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation for multiple entities - Review departmental accounting functions including file uploads, formatting, and systems expertise - Review supporting schedules, budget changes, and year-end close procedures - Provide feedback on Accountants" performance to the Supervisor - Review a sampling of monthly financial statements for quality assurance - Strive to understand nuances of other branches Qualifications Required: - Full understanding of all four financial statement preparation methods - Ability to interpret and apply industry-related laws - Ability to manage multiple entities, meet tight deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel at an advanced level - Good written and verbal communication skills - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Knowledge of Complete Control for Communities (C3) software preferred - Understanding of, or experience in, the Community Association Management Industry preferred The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
