Java Application Support Engineer - L3 (Java /) @ Maas Factree Solutions

Job Description

Role Overview: As an experienced L3 Support Engineer with expertise in Java-based applications, database troubleshooting, and DevSecOps practices, you will be responsible for handling escalations, analyzing complex issues, collaborating with teams, and ensuring critical applications run smoothly. Key Responsibilities: - Handle escalations from L1/L2 teams, perform root cause analysis, and resolve complex production issues. - Debug Java applications (Spring, REST APIs, microservices) in production and staging environments. - Collaborate with development teams for permanent fixes and code-level improvements. - Perform advanced SQL query analysis, indexing, and query optimization. - Diagnose DB performance issues, deadlocks, replication errors, and data integrity concerns. - Manage CI/CD pipelines for deploying hotfixes and releases. - Apply security best practices in application and infrastructure support. - Automate monitoring, alerts, and log analysis. - Ensure SLAs are met by monitoring, triaging, and resolving incidents. - Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base for recurring issues. Qualification Required: - Strong knowledge of Java / J2EE, Spring Boot, REST APIs debugging. - Hands-on experience with SQL / Oracle / PostgreSQL / MySQL query tuning & troubleshooting. - Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps). - Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and exposure to cloud platforms and container orchestration. - Familiarity with monitoring & logging tools. - Ability to leverage AI technologies for process optimization. - Strong problem-solving & debugging skills. - Excellent communication skills. - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 8 to 12 years of L2/L3 Application Support experience in enterprise environments. - Certifications in Java, Cloud (AWS/Azure), Kubernetes, or DevOps are a plus.,
