Python Automation Engineer @ Virtusa

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Strong proficiency in Python or Java programming.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as PyTest, Selenium, Robot Framework, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber or or similar.
• Expertise in API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
• Strong knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Proficient in database testing (SQL/NoSQL) and familiarity with database management systems.
• Familiarity with performance testing and tools like JMeter is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile development environment.
