Job Description
On contract for 6 Months . It may get extended as per project requirement
1. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand their reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
2. Design and develop data models, star schemas, and dimensional data structures to support reporting and analytics needs.
Develop interactive reports, ad-hoc queries, and executive dashboards using OBIEE tools such as Answers, Dashboards, and BI Publisher.3. Create and maintain OBIEE metadata objects, including physical, business, and presentation layers.
Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks using Oracle Database and SQL to ensure accurate and timely data availability.
4. Optimize the performance of OBIEE reports and dashboards by applying best practices in caching, query tuning, and indexing.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OBIEE applications, data integrity, and performance bottlenecks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data engineers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality BI solutions.
6. Provide end-to-end support and maintenance for OBIEE and OAS platforms.
7. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the OBIEE and business intelligence domain.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members when necessary.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. 6-8 years of hands-on experience in OBIEE development, including report and dashboard development, data modeling, and ETL.
3. Proficient in using OBIEE tools such as Answers, Dashboards, and BI Publisher.4. Strong SQL and database skills, preferably with Oracle Database.
5. Experience in dimensional data modeling and designing star schemas.
6. Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
7. Demonstrated ability to optimize performance and troubleshoot OBIEE applications.
8. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
9. Oracle certifications in OBIEE or related areas are a plus.
