Civil Design Engineer - Manager/Senior Manager @ Tata Consulting

Job Description

Civil Design Engineer for Plants related to Ferrous / Non- Ferrous / Industrial Projects.

Role & responsibilities

• Knowledge in overall project engineering & design engineering.
• Identification of clients needs based on project requirement, data collection from Client and site visit.
• Understanding of overall project scheduling, procurement activities
• Knowledge of applicable civil and structural design/ engineering standards like IS, ACI, AISC, ASCE, BSEN etc.
• Shall be mobile & agile.
• Shall work as lead engineer for various projects.
• Preparation of technical proposals & man hour estimation for new projects.
• Cost estimation for construction works.
• Preparation of enquiry documentation for suppliers/subcontractors.
• Selection and coordination of suppliers/subcontractors.
• Understanding and interpretation of assignment drawings
• Development and review of technical reports such as Concept Note, Feasibility Study report, Detailed Project Report.
• Preparation and checking of technical specification & BOQs.
• Must have knowledge of RC & structural Design & GFC drawings checking.
• Shall be capable of preparation of calculation of design Documents.
• Should have working knowledge of Navisworks.
• Knowledge of software like STAAD pro, ETABS,SAP-2000 etc.
