Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
5+ Years hands on experience in Selenium Automation
1.Test Automation Framework Development: Creating and maintaining test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, or other relevant tools to ensure efficient test execution and minimal maintenance.
2.Test Script Development: Writing test scripts in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# to automate testing of web applications across different browsers and operating systems.
3.Test Data Management: Creating and managing test data to support automated testing, which may involve database interactions or using data-driven testing techniques.
4.Defect Reporting and Analysis: Identifying, reporting, and analyzing defects found during automated testing, working closely with development teams to resolve issues.
5.Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams, including QA, development, and product management, to ensure test automation aligns with project requirements and timelines.
6.Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD to ensure continuous testing and feedback.
7.Maintenance and Optimization: Continuously reviewing and optimizing test automation suites to improve test coverage, reduce execution time, and adapting to changes in the application or technology stack.
Contributing Responsibilities:
- Able to communicate effectively with Dev and BA teams Teams.
- Ability to work in tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. should be able to communicate effectively with Onshore/ offshore Teams.
- Must be flexible, independent and self-motivated
- Hands on experience on JIRA and ALM
- Knowledge of SQL
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Java, Python, C#) and experience with object-oriented programming concepts.
- In-depth knowledge of Selenium WebDriver, including its architecture, capabilities, and limitations.
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or PyUnit.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to debug issues in automated tests and to improve test efficiency.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
