Automation Tester @ Kairos Technologies

Location : Remote

Shifts: UK Shifts

Key Responsibilities :- 5 Years

• Design, develop, and maintain BDD automation frameworks using WebdriverIO (WDIO) with TypeScript. For API (Axios).
• Perform API testing using Postman and automate API tests with suitable frameworks.
• Design, implement, and execute regression and smoke test suites.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / GitHub Workflows).
• Collaborate with developers, BAs, and stakeholders to ensure proper requirement understanding and test coverage.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives).
• Work with version control (GitHub) for test code management and collaboration.
• Provide detailed test reports and defect logs and ensure timely bug resolution.
• Ensure automation best practices, scalability, and maintainability.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with WebdriverIO (WDIO) using TypeScript and BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin).
• Solid experience in API testing (manual with Postman and automated).
• Good understanding of CI/CD integration with GitHub workflows.
• Proficiency in GitHub version control and branching strategies.
• Working knowledge of Java for automation scripting.
• Strong experience in preparing and executing regression and smoke test suites.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile methodology.
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
