Job Description
Location : Remote
Shifts: UK Shifts
Key Responsibilities :- 5 Years
- Design, develop, and maintain BDD automation frameworks using WebdriverIO (WDIO) with TypeScript. For API (Axios).
- Perform API testing using Postman and automate API tests with suitable frameworks.
- Design, implement, and execute regression and smoke test suites.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / GitHub Workflows).
- Collaborate with developers, BAs, and stakeholders to ensure proper requirement understanding and test coverage.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives).
- Work with version control (GitHub) for test code management and collaboration.
- Provide detailed test reports and defect logs and ensure timely bug resolution.
- Ensure automation best practices, scalability, and maintainability.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with WebdriverIO (WDIO) using TypeScript and BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin).
- Solid experience in API testing (manual with Postman and automated).
- Good understanding of CI/CD integration with GitHub workflows.
- Proficiency in GitHub version control and branching strategies.
- Working knowledge of Java for automation scripting.
- Strong experience in preparing and executing regression and smoke test suites.
- Hands-on experience working in Agile methodology.
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
