Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Gather Product requirements (e.g. functionalities, Non Functional requirements)
Ensure products and procedures meet industry standards
Develop test environments and test cases for all positive, negative and edge case scenarios
Review business / software requirements and provide inputs.
Prepare / review test plans.
Prepare test cases, test scripts and test data.
Execute tests (manual / automated).
Report defects and assist in their understanding.
Prepare and present test reports
Analyse test results track software testing metrics and root cause.
Train, mentor and collaborate with junior software engineers and peers. Find the Root cause for issue and Prepare RCA for Production issue
Log Monitoring and Analysis for issue prevention
Experience on Testing Micro service API (Restful) components. knowledge on processing API

Desired Skills and Experience

Knowledge of at least one or more programming/ scripting language (Java, Micro Service, Unix and Python)
Knowledge of at least one database management system (RDBMS / NoSQL)
Knowledge and experience in Automation testing using Selenium, API Automation and Open Source tools like JMeter, TestNG, Rest Assured, Cucumber BDD, Jenkins, GIT.
Experience in customizing existing Automation framework.
Previous experience as a Test Engineer / Sr Test Engineer or similar role
Familiarity with various testing techniques (Functional, E2E, Integration, UAT, etch)
Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Great troubleshooting skills and Analytical mind-set.
Good written and oral communication
Minimum 2/3+ Years of Experience.
Payment systems Domain Knowledge
Ticketing tool experience like JIRA / Service Now / Service Desk .
Education - MCA/ Mtech/ BCA/ Bsc IT/ CS/ Btech/BE.
