Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior Software Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products. You should have 2.6 to 6 years of experience with a strong background in software testing methodologies, proficiency in JAVA, MANUAL, and AUTOMATION skills. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements and specifications. Various types of testing such as functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing will be part of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide timely feedback. - Lead testing efforts for complex projects, mentor junior testers, and analyze test results while troubleshooting issues. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and tools. Qualifications Required: - Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC). - Proficiency in testing tools like Selenium, JIRA, QTest, TestRail, and experience with automated testing frameworks and scripting languages such as Python, Java, and JavaScript. - Knowledge of database/SQL for backend testing, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are also required.
