In this role, you will lead medium to high complexity efforts in delivering Big Data platforms for making critical decisions. You will develop and recommend new systems for data analysis, code and develop advanced analytics solutions to optimize business processes, integrate new tools for improved analytics, and identify technical challenges solvable with Big Data solutions. Additionally, you will manage complex projects and contribute to Allstate's structured and unstructured Big Data and Data Science tools. Key Responsibilities: - Recognized as a Big Data expert and influential within the department - Influence on the effectiveness of Big Data systems for solving business problems - Utilize best practices in Big Data to develop technical solutions for analytics - Efficient project planning to manage project scope and deadlines - Identify new data areas and technologies to solve business problems - Collaborate with peers and Allstate Technology teams for holistic solutions - Act as a technical leader within the department Requirements: - Masters Degree preferred - 5+ years of experience preferred - Expertise in Big Data Engineering, Systems, Technologies, Data Science, and Influencing Others While this role does not have supervisory duties, you will assist in recruitment, mentorship, and development of team members.
