About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Test Engineer to join the EY Technology Consulting team. This role demands a strong foundation in software testing, agile methodologies, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions through rigorous validation processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual and API testing, defect management, and exposure to AI validation tools.
Job Description: Senior QA Engineer Manual & API Testing with AI Validation Exposure
We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with 4+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance. You will be responsible for designing and executing test strategies, managing defects, and validating AI use cases using modern tools. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment to ensure the delivery of robust and scalable software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test cases for web and API-based applications.
- Perform defect tracking and management using tools like Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
- Conduct test closure activities and contribute to test documentation.
- Validate AI use cases using tools such as Ragas, DeepEval, and LLM-as-a-Judge.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
- Work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software testing, including manual and API testing.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and test lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with defect management and test closure activities.
- Proficiency in using Azure DevOps (ADO) for test and defect tracking.
- Exposure to AI validation tools like Ragas, DeepEval, or LLM-as-a-Judge.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualities
- Knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman).
- Experience in validating AI/ML models and use cases.
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
