Job Description
Dear Aspirants,
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager (ASM) to join our Aftermarket team in Vijayawada. The ASM will be responsible for managing sales and distribution activities, expanding the dealer network, and ensuring secondary sales growth in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow the aftermarket business in the assigned territory (Vijayawada & surrounding regions).
- Appoint and manage channel partners (distributors, retailers, mechanics).
- Achieve sales targets through effective planning and implementation.
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activities and market trends.
- Drive secondary sales through innovative schemes, mechanic meets, and retailer engagement programs.
- Handle order booking, invoicing, and collections in coordination with internal teams.
- Provide product training and support to channel partners and retailers.
- Monitor stock levels, timely dispatches, and distributor performance.
- Submit periodic sales reports, market feedback, and MIS to regional managers.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- 510 years of experience in the 2W auto components aftermarket or automotive spare parts sales.
- Proven track record in dealer/channel management and business development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good understanding of local market geography and customer behavior.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
- Language Proficiency: English, Telugu (mandatory), Hindi (preferred).
