Job Description
The Counter Sales Executive is responsible for attending to walk-in customers, understanding their needs, offering appropriate products or services, and closing sales. The role also involves stock handling, billing, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and attend to customers at the counter.
- Understand customer requirements and suggest suitable products.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits.
- Handle point-of-sale (POS) billing and cash/card transactions.
- Maintain proper stock display and product arrangements.
- Keep the sales counter clean and organized.
- Manage customer queries and resolve complaints professionally.
- Maintain records of sales and customer interactions.
- Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams for stock replenishment.
- Achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales targets.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business or marketing is a plus.
