- As the Lead Cloud Software Engineer at Mastercard, you will be pivotal in advancing the customer experience strategy through continuous innovation and problem-solving. Your enthusiasm for the customer experience journey, coupled with your proactive, inquisitive, analytical, and adaptable approach, will be pivotal to your success in this role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Participate in the implementation of new systems and drive strategic thinking to enhance team effectiveness. - Develop processes, tools, and frameworks to streamline operations. - Take charge of analyzing, designing, developing, and delivering software solutions. - Define requirements for new applications and customizations while adhering to standards and best practices. - Plan and execute maintenance, upgrades, and migrations across various environments. - Design resilient scalable infrastructure to prevent downtime and service interruptions. - Collaborate with external vendors for logging, monitoring, and security needs. - Build infrastructure using infrastructure as code and Docker. - Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members. - Take part in on-call rotation and manage medium-sized projects. - Design and develop applications, system interfaces, and software solutions. **Qualifications Required:** - Experience in managing medium-sized projects, designing applications, and system interfaces. - Proficiency in AWS Cloud, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, Linux, and related technologies. - Strong expertise in Kubernetes, AWS, Kops/Rancher/EKS, Terraform, CI/CD, Linux, cluster backup, autoscaling, RBAC configuration, and service mesh. - Commitment to corporate security responsibilities and ensuring confidentiality and integrity of information.
