Job Description

Job Title: Lead/SME - Functional Safety

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. - ECE / EEE / CSE

Experience: 6 to 20 Years

Job Post Date: 19/09/2024

Job Expiry Date: 31/10/2024

Location: Chennai, Bangalore, Pune

Capability to coordinate for safety activities as a part of project safety development

Ability to maintain development Interface Agreement(DIA) with customers

Proficiency in creating and maintaining project safety plan in alignment with project management and engineering departments according to development process

Experience in preparing functional safety concepts and technical safety concepts

Expertise in derivation of safety requirements from safety concept

Ability to define safety strategies for random hardware failure

Capability to define system safe states and its transition and perform failure analysis for interfaces
Proven experience in leading functional safety meetings with customer
Experience in performing quantitative FTA to derive the system failure rate to meet random hardware failure safety target ISO26262 processes as per the ASIL level of product in development
Experience in preparing and reviewing test case specification for functional safety validation
Ability to interface between customer safety organization and engineering departments for safety related activities
Capability to escalate and de-escalate project related issues pertaining to safety Compilation of safety case
Sound experience in HARA and DFMEA -> System and Hardware Software ISO26262 processes as per part 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8
Experience in Functional safety validation
Knowledge of ASIL B, C, or D system
Experience with automotive systems development life cycle
