Deep knowledge of trim pattern development and sewing process awareness to overcome appearance and craftsmanship
Create criteria sections confirming to comfort and packaging guidelines.
Coordination with Style team for Class-A convergence to meet AAR requirement.
Knowledge on various material compatibility and aesthetic features to use on fabric and leatherette
Convergence with Foam design for DFM, AAR related concerns at TKO
Knowledge on Recycling, renewable material usage and integration of comfort components
Coordinate with JIT Integration and materials team to define to meet craftsmanship requirements.
Responsible for initiating design solutions by meeting the STLA Design Practice requirements.
Knowledge on Trim integration with JIT
Create DVPR/DFMEA for the Seat Trim and sub-components / JIT and align with the supplier/CFT
Create technical data sheet and RFQs for the new programs and assess new supplier competency
Responsible for supplier and CFT convergence (product grid, Perceived quality, build & functional objectives).
CAD Data finalization, GD&T and release per program milestones.
Co-ordinate TKO sign-off processes and ensure targets are met.
Responsible for quality improvements and cost reduction.
Ensure completion of validation and DVP&R signoff as per STLA milestones
