Job Description
We are looking for a seasoned QA and Reliability Engineering expert to define and drive our automation-first quality strategy, fully embedded into our CI/CD workflows and platform engineering culture. This role is central to delivering robust single-click pipelines, high-reliability environments, and data-driven insights at scale.
As a Senior Engineer, you will own both strategy and execution across automation, synthetic data generation, load and performance testing, resilience engineering, and environment optimization for mission-critical platform services.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and scale automated QA frameworks for APIs, services, and UI, ensuring platform-grade quality.
Embed test enforcement into single-click CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins, or similar. - Define and implement test data strategies using synthetic generation, factories, mocking, and anonymization.
- Design and manage on-demand performance and load test environments with k6, JMeter, Gatling, or Locust.
- Architect and execute resilience and chaos testing (fault-injection, failover, fault tolerance) for critical services.
- Establish and optimize performance environment strategies for multi-tenant, scalable systems.
- Define, measure, and track SLOs, SLAs, and error budgets, partnering with SRE and observability teams.
- Champion shift-left testing practices by embedding automated validations early in the lifecycle.
- Build self-service quality tools for developers and platform teams to accelerate test feedback loops.
- Continuously evolve non-functional validation strategies to meet performance, stability, and availability benchmarks.
Skills & Experience Required
- 6+ years in QA automation, reliability engineering, or platform QA roles.
- Strong hands-on expertise with automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, REST-assured, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in load, stress, and chaos testing for distributed, cloud-native systems.
- Deep knowledge of test data management (synthetic generation, mocking, anonymization).
- Strong CI/CD integration experience with ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins (or similar).
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure) and Kubernetes-based deployments.
- Proficiency with observability stacks Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic (or similar).
- Familiarity with contract testing, component testing, and non-functional validation techniques.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with multi-tenant systems and environment reduction strategies.
- Knowledge of service virtualization and advanced mocking frameworks.
- Exposure to GenAI-driven test acceleration (test generation, log summarization, anomaly detection).
- Hands-on with chaos engineering frameworks (Gremlin, Litmus, Chaos Mesh, Chaos Monkey).
