Job Description
This is a requirement for a Release Train Engineer (RTE) to support large-scale transformation initiatives within a critical financial systems landscape. The role involves coordinating Agile Release Trains (ARTs) across complex environments, including Murex or other highly critical financial platforms. The RTE will act as a servant leader and coach, ensuring delivery alignment, risk management, and effective collaboration across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Lead and facilitate Program Increment (PI) planning, system demos, and ART ceremonies to ensure seamless delivery.
Partner with Product Managers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to define and prioritize features.
Identify, manage, and resolve cross-team dependencies and risks.
Ensure alignment of delivery objectives across front-to-back functions (technology, operations, and business teams).
Drive continuous improvement in Agile maturity across teams, promoting best practices in scaling frameworks (SAFe or equivalent).
Provide transparency into delivery status, metrics, and progress for senior stakeholders.
Support change and release management processes for highly complex and regulated systems.
Must have
12+ years of IT experience with at least 3-5 years as a Release Train Engineer, Program Manager, or Agile Delivery Lead.
Proven experience in running large-scale Agile Release Trains (SAFe or equivalent).
Exposure to highly critical financial systems (Murex experience strongly preferred, or similar trading/risk platforms).
Strong understanding of Agile principles, program management, and scaled delivery practices.
Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills. Nice to have
SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) or other Agile certifications (SPC, PMP, CSM).
Experience working in capital markets or investment banking environments.
Knowledge of change management and regulatory compliance in financial services.
Familiarity with Cloud (AWS/Azure) and DevOps practices in scaled delivery.
