Job Description

Job Title: Junior HR Business Partner

Location: Juinagar, Navi Mumbai
Department: Human Resources
Reporting To: HRBP

Experience Required: 34 years in HR roles, preferably in tech or startup environments

Role Overview

As a Junior HRBP, youll be embedded within our engineering and product teams, acting as a strategic partner and employee advocate. Youll support talent initiatives, drive engagement, and help build a high-performance culture that attracts and retains top tech talent.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Team Partnering:
    • Build strong relationships with engineering and product leaders
    • Provide guidance on team dynamics, performance, and growth
  • Talent Development:
    • Support career pathing and upskilling initiatives for developers
    • Collaborate with L&D to deliver tech-focused training programs
  • Performance & Feedback:
    • Facilitate regular check-ins, feedback loops, and performance reviews
    • Coach managers on effective goal setting and recognition practices
  • Culture & Engagement:
    • Champion a culture of psychological safety, inclusion, and innovation
    • Organize hackathons, wellness events, and team-building activities
  • HR Operations & Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies
    • Maintain accurate HRIS data and support audits
  • Data & Insights:
    • Analyze attrition, engagement, and hiring metrics
    • Present actionable insights to leadership to inform people strategy

Qualification

  • Bachelors degree in HR, Psychology, Business, or related field
  • 24 years of HR experience, ideally in a tech or startup setting
  • Strong understanding of HR practices in agile, people-first environments
  • Empathy, discretion, and a bias for action
  • Familiarity with tools like BambooHR, Lever, or similar HR tech stacks
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Employment Type:

  • All positions are on a fixed-term contract on a full-time basis exclusively for ReBIT, initially for a period of five years, extendable by mutual consent.
