Job Tittle: Appian Tech Lead
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience: 8+ years in IT, with a minimum of 6 years in Appian development
Location: Remote (India-based candidates preferred)
Certifications: Mandatory Appian Level 3 (L3) Certified Developer
(Alternatively, Appian Level 2 (L2) certification with substantial lead experience is acceptable)
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
*Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of Appian developers, providing guidance on best practices, code reviews, and design decisions.
*Solution Architecture: Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance Appian applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
*Integration Management: Oversee the integration of Appian with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, JDBC, and other protocols.
*Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize business processes, translating them into efficient Appian solutions.
*Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and clients to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
*Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to coding standards, conduct thorough testing, and oversee deployment processes.
*Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Appian features and industry trends to drive innovation within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Appian Expertise: Deep knowledge of Appian components such as Process Models, SAIL, Records, Reports, Smart Services, and Integrations.
*Development Proficiency: Strong experience in Appian Designer, including creating interfaces, process flows, expressions, and data types.
*Database Knowledge: Proficiency in SQL and experience with major databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
*Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading development teams, preferably in an Agile/Scrum environment.
*Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to interact with stakeholders and team members effectively.
Certifications:
*Mandatory: Appian Level 3 (L3) Certification.
*Alternative: Appian Level 2 (L2) Certification with substantial lead experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
*Domain Expertise: Experience in specific industries such as Insurance, Healthcare, or Government sectors.
*Additional Skills: Familiarity with Java, RPA tools, or other BPM platforms is a plus.
*Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, with a focus on iterative development and continuous delivery.
