About the Role Printer & POS Software Support
You will be the first point of contact for store associates in the U.S., providing technical support for Point-of-Sale systems, software applications, and printer hardware used in retail environments.
This role focuses on resolving issues related to:
Printer connectivity and performance (receipt printers, barcode scanners, etc.)
POS application errors
Peripheral device troubleshooting
Basic networking issues related to store systems
Key Responsibilities:
Handle inbound/outbound calls, emails, and chats for printer and POS-related issues.
Troubleshoot software issues and hardware integration with store devices (printers, tablets, scanners).
Guide store staff with detailed step-by-step resolutions.
Escalate unresolved issues to Level 2/3 technical teams.
Accurately document issues and resolutions using CRM tools.
Adhere to defined SLAs and performance metrics (AHT, CSAT).
Stay informed on latest POS system updates and printer technologies.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree (BCA, BSc, or equivalent).
25 years of experience in customer support/call center or technical troubleshooting roles.
Prior experience supporting U.S. clients.
Strong communication skills (verbal & written); ability to understand U.S. accents.
Experience with printer troubleshooting (thermal printers, receipt printers, etc.) preferred.
Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce experience is a plus).
Basic knowledge of desktop, tablet, and peripheral device troubleshooting.
Proficiency in French or Spanish is a plus.
