Project Role: Associate Director Data Architecture
Work Experience: 10 to 18 Years
Work location: Bengaluru/Kochi

Job Overview
Assists with the conceptualization, development and implementation of IQVIA Analytic Solution team, that support an enterprise architecture for Data and analytics solutions which supports future IQVIA systems, products and platforms and satisfies business product strategy in the Cloud or IQVIA data center.
Essential Functions
- Assists with the ongoing conceptualization, development and implementation of an enterprise system architecture.
- Manage projects of different size and scale working closely with stakeholders and development teams
- Devises and presents business cases and program release plans to senior management with priority recommendations to maintain and evolve this architecture.
- Partners with business line managers, providing technical and system expertise, to synergize IT strategic direction and product concepts.
- Partners with product development management to define IT strategic direction and assists in the mapping of projects to that strategic direction whilst ensuring product capabilities and process improvements are delivered over time within the framework of the IQVIA enterprise architecture.
- Leads cross-functional product development teams, acting also as a senior consultant to provide system and technical advice.
- Keeps up to date with technology changes and identifies opportunities for implementation in future systems.
- Defines R&D projects and runs those projects in compliance with standard project management practices.
- Mentors and assists lower level architects and business analysts.
- Being able to support the team in development by being hands-on, define standards, process and procedures
- Define test strategies and automation testing architecture working with testing team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in software and/or product development with a focus on architecture
- Experience in Data Architecture, Data modeling, Data Catalogue, Data governance, data quality, Database Design, and ETL/ ELT, Data Migration etc..
- Must Have: Data warehousing and Analytics, Azure or AWS, Snowflake/Redshift/Databricks/Synapse
- 5+ Years of architecture and design experience (Cloud systems with integrations, security etc.)
- BI Solutions like PowerBI/Tableau/MSBI etc..
- Being able to present solutions to business and technical stakeholders
- Being able to work with junior architects and senior development to bring the architecture to life
- IT consulting and project management experience.
- Experience in Pharmaceutical and Life sciences industry
- Experienced in enterprise architecture, business information modeling, and system design following IQVIA standard tools and technologies.
- Experienced in applying technology to business strategies.
- Ability to employ consulting skills.
- Broad knowledge of current technology, tools and techniques for software development and ability to learn new technologies to apply technologies.
- Experience to present to both high level stakeholders and Business users and work closely with junior resources to execute projects
- Experience in managing complex projects and timelines working closely with Project Manager, Engineering managers, Development and Test teams
