Role Overview Description
Responsibilities:
- Plan, shoot, and edit short-form and long-form videos (Reels, Shorts, YouTube, event aftermovies, brand films).
- Collaborate with the content and influencer teams to execute creative briefs and storyboards.
- Capture high-quality footage for influencer collabs, student testimonials, and campus events.
- Edit videos using storytelling techniques that align with NSTs brand positioning and youth tone.
- Stay updated with social media trends, transitions, and editing styles (especially Instagram, YouTube, TikTok-style edits).
- Manage equipment setup (cameras, lighting, audio gear) and ensure smooth shoots.
- Organize and maintain video archives, raw footage, and edited files for easy reuse.
- Collaborate with designers and marketers to repurpose video content for ads, campaigns, and different platforms.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects in fast-paced campaign cycles.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a Videographer/Video Editor in a creative, media, or marketing role.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Skilled in using DSLR/mirrorless cameras, gimbals, drones, and audio equipment.
- Strong understanding of lighting setups and framing for both indoor and outdoor shoots.
- Ability to adapt editing styles for different formats (Reels, Shorts, YouTube, ads).
- Knowledge of motion graphics and basic animation (bonus).
- Good storytelling instincts and an eye for visual detail.
- Ability to work independently on shoots as well as in collaboration with teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Bonus: Experience shooting live events, influencer content, or youth-focused brands.
