Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement strategic data architecture** aligned with insurance business objectives, supporting analytics, regulatory, and operational needs
• Build, evolve, and optimize data models**covering conceptual, logical, and physical domainsto ensure data consistency and integrity across the enterprise.
• Lead data governance and master data management (MDM) initiatives**, promoting data quality, lineage, and securityall vital for regulatory compliance.
• Drive cloud-based data platform strategies** (Azure, AWS, GCP), integration of structured and unstructured sources, and innovative architectures (e.g., Lakehouse).
• Collaborate with stakeholders:** partner with business leaders, SMEs, IT, and vendors to collect requirements and ensure delivery aligns with organizational vision.[4][2][1]
• Monitor data strategy delivery and SDLC**overseeing development, testing, and support of data platforms.[2][4]
• Ensure architecture meets regulatory, compliance, and security needs** within UK insurance and financial sectors.[4][5]
