Power Bi Developer @ RE Sustainability

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify analytics needs and translate them into effective solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI, incorporating complex DAX measures where necessary.
• Interpret and communicate data-driven insights in a clear, business-relevant manner.
• Analyse large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities that inform strategic and operational decisions.
• Ensure data models and reports are aligned with business goals and KPIs.
• Provide recommendations based on analytics that drive measurable business outcomes.
• Continuously optimize reporting solutions for better performance, usability, and business relevance.
• 5+ years of experience in business analytics, data analysis, or a related field.
• Expertise in Power BI, with strong proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
• Solid understanding of data modelling concepts and relational databases (especially Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL).
• Experience with other Microsoft tools like Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot), and Azure Data services is a plus.
• Strong business orientation able to connect analytics work to its direct impact on business performance.
• Ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Exposure to Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, or similar data platforms.
• Experience with predictive or prescriptive analytics (basic machine learning exposure is a plus).
• Background in working with cross-functional teams in dynamic business environments.
