Job Description
Position Summary... rives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness. The International Markets team contributes to key global eCommerce sites Walmart Canada, Walmart Mexico and Walmart Africa. We work on technologies that intersect a wide variety of business models for

What you ll do...
- Through this role you have an opportunity to develop intuitive software that meets and exceeds the needs of the customer and the company.
- You also get to collaborate with team members to develop best practices and client requirements for the software.
- In this role it would be important for you to professionally maintain all codes and create updates regularly to address the customer s and company s concerns
- You will show your skills in analysing and testing programs/products before formal launch to ensure flawless performance
- Troubleshooting coding problems quickly and efficiently will offer you a chance to grow your skills in a high-pace, high-impact environment.
- Software security is of prime importance and by developing programs that monitor sharing of private information, you will be able to add tremendous credibility to your work
- You will also be required to seek ways to improve the software and its effectiveness.
- You will be called upon to support the coaching and training of other team members to ensure all employees are confident in the use of software applications

Position Requirements:
Minimum qualifications:
Minimum qualifications:
- Master s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in object-oriented programming and developing spring based micro services in Java
- 4+ years of experience in building of large scale data pipelines using big data technologies (i.e. Spark / Kafka / Cassandra / Hadoop / Hive / Presto / Airflow).
- 6+ years of experience in systems design, algorithms, and distributed systems.
Additional Qualifications:
- Large scale distributed systems experience, including scalability and fault tolerance.
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure, such as Open Stack, Azure, GCP, or AWS
- A continuous drive to explore, improve, enhance, automate and optimize systems and tools.
- Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures and algorithms
- Exposure to information retrieval, statistics, and machine learning.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications...
C ertification in Security+, GISF, CISSP, CCSP, or GSEC, Master s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 1 year s experience leading information security or cybersecurity projects
