Job Description
- Conduct thorough medical reviews of device-related documents, including clinical trial protocols and study reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain expertise in medical devices and equipment, staying up-to-date with new technologies and advancements.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff members on medical review processes and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of medical review activities.
- Communicate complex technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders through written reports and presentations.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology as applied to medical devices.
- Experience with regulatory requirements related to medical devices, such as FDA regulations or IEC standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex data.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems and other healthcare software applications is an asset.
