Urgent Hiring || Plant Head || Location- Sonipat
Location- Barhi, Sonipat
Profile- Plant Head
Required Experience- 5+ years
Ctc range- upto 18 Lpa (depend on interview)
Working Days-6 days
Role Overview:
The Plant Head will be responsible for the complete lookout and management of the plant covering production, quality, maintenance, safety, HR, and supply chain. The role demands a dynamic leader with strong expertise in manufacturing operations, preferably in injection moulding, who can ensure the plant runs at peak efficiency while meeting business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plant Operations & Production
Full ownership of day-to-day plant operations and performance.
Ensure production targets (output, quality, cost, delivery) are consistently achieved.
Optimize injection moulding operations, material utilization, and cycle times.
Implement lean manufacturing practices, TPM, 5S, and Kaizen for efficiency.
2. People & Leadership
Lead, mentor, and motivate cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, HR, etc.).
Build capability through training, skill enhancement, and succession planning.
Foster a culture of safety, discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement.
3. Quality & Customer Focus
Ensure adherence to ISO/TS/IATF and customer-specific standards.
Drive zero-defect manufacturing and customer satisfaction.
Support new product development, trials, and customer audits.
4. Maintenance & Engineering
Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance of machines, moulds, and utilities.
Drive OEE improvement, reduce downtime, and enhance equipment reliability.
Plan and execute capex projects, automation, and technology upgrades.
5. Supply Chain & Inventory Management
Monitor raw material planning, procurement, and inventory control.
Ensure on-time delivery and efficient coordination with vendors and logistics partners.
Maintain cost efficiency in supply chain operations.
6. Finance & Cost Management
Prepare and manage plant budgets, ensuring cost optimization and profitability.
Control wastage, energy consumption, and operational expenses.
Implement cost-saving initiatives across all functions.
7. Safety, Compliance & Sustainability
Ensure compliance with all statutory, legal, and environmental regulations.
Maintain workplace safety standards, conduct safety audits, and drive zero-accident culture.
Lead ESG/sustainability initiatives at the plant level.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong expertise in injection moulding processes (preferred) and overall plant management.
Proven leadership and ability to manage large teams across multiple functions.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Hands-on with Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence tools.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Qualifications & Experience:
B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical / Polymer / Production Engineering (or equivalent).
experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role as Plant Head / Unit Head / Operations Head.
Exposure to plastics/injection moulding industry preferred.
