Software Testing Intern @ Hitachi

Job Description

You will be responsible for the following tasks: - Performing manual testing of web applications, mobile apps, and APIs. - Developing and executing test cases, test plans, and test scenarios. - Identifying, documenting, and reporting bugs and defects using bug-tracking tools. - Collaborating with developers and product managers to understand requirements. - Conducting functional, UI, regression, and exploratory testing. - Learning and applying automation testing (Selenium, Cypress, or any relevant tool) over time. - Providing feedback to improve software usability and performance. - Working closely with the development team for issue resolution and process improvements. Required Skills & Qualifications: - **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field. - Basic understanding of software development and testing methodologies. - Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus. - Knowledge of any programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript) is a bonus. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify issues. - Good communication and teamwork skills. - Eagerness to learn new testing tools and methodologies.
