Job Description
As a Senior Developer, you will play a pivotal role in building scalable, intelligent, and high-quality software solutions. Along with core development, you will guide design decisions, mentor team members, and integrate AI-driven capabilities into products where relevant. You will combine strong coding skills with problem-solving, innovation, and leadership. In your day-to-day you will:
- Lead the design, coding, testing, and delivery of complex features, ensuring performance and reliability.
- Apply AI/ML techniques to enhance product functionality, automation, and customer experience.
- Drive architectural and design discussions, ensuring solutions are scalable and maintainable.
- Mentor and coach developers, review code, and foster engineering excellence.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams across locations.
- Take ownership of key modules or services, from design to production monitoring.
- Analyze data and leverage AI tools for smarter incident detection, resolution, and prevention.
- Champion coding standards, Agile practices, and innovatio
What you bring
Skills:
- 7-10 years of hand-on development experience with open-source technologies
- Python (3+ years) and LLM experience (prompt engineering, Lang Chain)
- Ability to lead the design, development and deployment of an AI microservice
- SAP BTP experience or other large scale cloud platform development experience
- Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns
- Familiarity with SAP AI Core, MCP Servers, RAG, Vector databases
- Result-oriented approach and self-driven learning with good networking skills
- A collaborative team player, enthusiastic, proactive and passionate about building long lasting cod
