Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Assist gastroenterologists in performing endoscopic and other GI procedures, including colonoscopies, upper endoscopies (EGDs), and ERCPs.
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring they understand the process and are comfortable.
- Monitor patients vital signs and condition during procedures.
- Prepare the endoscopy suite and ensure all equipment and instruments are sterilized and ready for use.
- Provide post-procedure care and instructions to patients, ensuring a smooth recovery process.
- Assist in the recovery room as needed, monitoring patients as they recover from sedation.
- Operate and maintain endoscopic and other GI equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly.
Minimum experience - 5 to 10 Years as Senior Technician
