Job Description
- You will be responsible to build and maintain Horizon environments for the enterprise.
- You will be expected to troubleshoot and resolve any IT service issues related to Horizon systems and servers; partner with the other infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve related issues.
- You will need to leverage optimization techniques to maximize the efficiency of all computer systems and Implement and maintains a systems business impact assessment to prioritize system recovery in the event of a failure.
- You will build and implement Horizon systems, servers, and virtualized infrastructure.
- You will also be expected to evaluate new technologies to meet business needs or to solve business problems.
- You will manage and lead Root Cause Analysis, Lessons Learned and prevention processes to provide high standard deliverables that meet SLA (Service Level Adherence) and ensure CSAT (Customer Satisfaction).
- You will act as a senior technical authority for Horizon infrastructure, guiding architecture decisions and ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.

- Horizon infrastructure Specialist with experience of 7-9 A must
- Experience in maintenance and operation of large scales of Horizon environment.
- knowledge of Windows operating systems 2016 and above
- knowledge of VMware vSphere suite
- knowledge experience working with DNS, DHCP, DFS
- Knowledge of building automated scripts using PowerShell
- Fast and self-learner with outstanding technical skills
- Basic knowledge of storage and networking.
- Independent Highly motivated individual, responsible worker, able to plan and execute, able to work in dynamic environment and complete projects from end-to-end
Added advantage
- Experience using VRealize Operations (Vrops) to monitor Horizon environments.
- Understanding of MFA/SSO technologies (e.g., Duo, RSA, Okta) and their integration with Horizon.
- Familiarity with hardening guides for Horizon and Windows desktop operating systems.
- Basic experience with hardware-management tools (e.g., HPE OneView, Dell OpenManage Enterprise, iDRAC, iLO) for managing Rack-Mount and blade/enclosure systems.
- Basic understanding of HCI solutions such as vSAN.
- Basic experience of hardware management tools (e.g., HPE OneView, Dell OpenManage Enterprise, Idrac and ILO) for rackmount and blade/enclosure systems.
- Experience working in large-scale environments (5,000+ VDIs and 6,000+ servers).
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
