Job Description

• Staff Management: Hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, mentoring, and evaluating the performance of nursing staff.
• Patient Care Oversight: Ensuring patients receive high-quality, compassionate care, monitoring operations, and addressing issues related to patient care.
• Operational Management: Overseeing daily unit operations, managing departmental budgets, and monitoring and ordering necessary supplies.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance: Developing and implementing policies and procedures to meet operational and regulatory standards, and ensuring staff adherence to these standards.
• Communication & Coordination: Serving as a vital link between the nursing staff, physicians, other healthcare professionals, and hospital administration.
• Problem-Solving: Responding to and resolving issues, complaints, and inquiries from patients, families, and staff.
