Senior Solution Architect - Java @ Epam Systems

Job Description

We are looking for a Sr. Solution Architect - Java to join our team.

A senior self-motivated solution or enterprise architect is required to run with multiple projects in finance and risk domain. Must be confident and strong communicator.

This resource is needed as ramp up for a complex General Ledger consolidation/migration to Oracle. The SA needs to be expert level as they'll work on the high level E2E architecture and migration as well as some of the details SDD's

Experience in IT Systems Design and Solutions Architecture working in Financial Institutions (Retail or Corporate) with domain knowledge in Finance & Risk (ideally in General Ledger systems migration), Transformation projects, green and brown field solutions/ implementations, or other regulated industry risk control frameworks

Responsibilities:

• More than 20 years of rich product engineering experience designing scalable software solutions.
• You have an exceptional foundation in Computer Science fundamentals, web applications & services, and microservices-based software architecture.
• You have architected & designed high transaction volume, financial (banking, payment) systems that operate at global scale and extreme up-time requirements.
• You have deep experience with cloud-native technologies and best practices, such as PCF, Kubernetes, Azure & AWS.
• You enjoy working in an Agile environment focused on continuous improvement.
• You have a strong desire to collaborate and provide mentorship to technology teams.
• You enjoy working with product leaders to inform and support options for delivering highly capable solutions that meet market demands.
• You desire to be hands-on building prototypes to solve complex business problems.
• You have excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical people.
• You are a relentless self-starter who works quickly and efficiently to support product and technical objectives.
• You advocate for whats technically important and doing the right thing.
