Job Description

The Senior Application Support Engineer (Senior SRE) will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and support of a hosted application platform. This role involves assisting and/or leading projects related to application environment support, collaborating with internal and external customers to troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues, and providing support for development and QA teams. The SRE will also participate in new project build-outs and manage various application administration tasks.

Required Skills

• 58 years of experience in Application Support (SRE).
  
• Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience with AWS Services (Lambda, ECS, ALB, RDS, CloudWatch Insights, etc.).
  
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and DataDog.

• Strong experience in Kubernetes support and administration.

• Scripting expertise in Shell/Perl.
  
• Proficiency in Linux/Windows system administration.
  
• Prior experience in application support and incident recovery.
  
• In-depth knowledge of Linux systems (e.g., RHEL) with regular command-line usage.
  
• Familiarity with relational databases; proficiency in SQL and query tools.

• Provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotational basis.
  
• ITIL certification is a plus.
