Job Description
- As a Test Automation Engineer at Wipro Limited, your primary objective is to prepare test cases and conduct testing of the product/platform/solution intended for deployment at a client's end, ensuring that it meets 100% quality assurance standards. **Responsibilities:** - Understand the test requirements and design test cases for the product - Develop test planning based on business requirements and testable criteria - Implement Wipro's testing methodology using Model-based testing for efficient test generation - Ensure peer review of test cases to minimize rework - Collaborate with the development team to identify and document test cases, ensuring version control - Define testing criteria, parameters, scope, and out-scope, and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) - Automate the test life cycle process using tools like vb macros, scheduling, and GUI automation - Design and execute the automation framework and generate reports - Develop and automate tests for software validation, including setting up test environments, designing test plans, and executing test cases - Report test defects with clear descriptions and replication patterns - Identify and report bug issues, prepare defect reports, and monitor test progress - Ensure no instances of rejection or slippage of work items within defined SLAs - Provide timely feedback on usability, serviceability, and quality risks to stakeholders - Deliver test status dashboards at the end of each test cycle - Maintain ongoing status reporting and customer focus in testing and execution - Ensure quality interactions with customers through various communication channels - Timely delivery of reports, updates, and responses to customer requests - Accurate updating of efforts in project trackers **Performance Parameters:** 1. Understanding the test requirements and test case design - Ensure error-free testing solutions, minimal process exceptions, 100% SLA compliance, and number of automations using VB macros 2. Execute test cases and reporting - Maintain testing efficiency and quality, achieve on-time delivery, troubleshoot queries promptly, and maintain high CSAT scores **Mandatory Skill:** - API Automation Testing **Experience:** - 3-5 Years Join Wipro, where we are transforming into a modern organization with bold ambitions.
