Engineering, or a specialized Release Management role. Your day-to-day work would likely involve:
Release Management: Owning the end-to-end release lifecycle. This includes planning, scheduling, coordinating, and managing software releases across various environments.
Java Development: You'll likely be responsible for building and deploying Java-based applications, often within a microservices architecture. Your deep understanding of Java is crucial for troubleshooting deployment issues and ensuring application stability.
AWS Expertise: Your knowledge of AWS is key for managing the infrastructure where these applications live. This includes services for computing (EC2, Lambda), databases (RDS, DynamoDB), storage (S3), and networking (VPC).
CI/CD Pipelines: You'll be a key player in designing, implementing, and optimizing continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS's own CodePipeline.
