Job Title: Senior Implementation Engineer

Role Overview
We are seeking experienced and self-motivated Implementation Engineers to join our enterprise software delivery team. This role involves end-to-end development, configuration, and customization of software features based on design documents and enterprise standards. Candidates must be hands-on with SQL, Linux, and application deployment, and should possess strong debugging and communication skills to collaborate with global teams and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and customize software features aligned with design specifications
- Perform unit and functional testing to ensure solution quality
- Deploy applications on Tomcat and other web servers
- Analyze and resolve application issues using logs and debugging tools
- Collaborate with Architects, Business Analysts, and cross-functional teams in both waterfall and agile environments
- Interface independently with R&D, Professional Services, and Customer Support teams
- Provide post-deployment support and resolve functionality issues
- Occasionally work onsite or across time zones as needed
- Participate in Actimize solution training.
Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL, including handling large volumes of data
- Proficiency in Linux and Unix environments, with command-line expertise
- Experience with application deployment on Tomcat and other web servers
- Excellent debugging skills, including log analysis and issue resolution
- Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
- Exposure to HTML, JavaScript, and CSS for front-end integration
- Experience working in complex database environments (Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL)
- Understanding of scalable, secure, and multi-user coding practices
- Knowledge of application server architecture and performance tuning
- Ability to develop and configure enterprise-grade software features
- Exposure to Actimize solutions (preferred but not mandatory)
- Familiarity with coding standards and enterprise software development practices
