Job Description
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Workday Financial Consultant to join our team. The consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Workday Financials modules. The role requires strong functional expertise, hands-on experience in Workday configuration, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to design solutions that meet financial and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support Workday Financials implementation and enhancement projects.
- General Ledger
- Accounts Payable / Receivable
- Asset Management
- Cash Management
- Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Expenses, Procurement (if applicable)
- Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
- Perform system configuration, testing (unit, integration, and user acceptance), and deployment activities.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and custom solutions within Workday.
- Troubleshoot issues, provide production support, and ensure system integrity.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and other Workday module teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Train end-users and provide documentation for system processes.
- Stay updated with Workday releases, new features, and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Finance/ERP domain with minimum 2+ years in Workday Financials.
- Strong expertise in at least 23 Workday Financial modules.
- Hands-on Workday configuration and implementation experience.
- Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Workday certification in Financials (preferred but not mandatory).
Good to Have:
- Experience in Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio).
- Exposure to Workday Adaptive Planning or Prism Analytics.
- Prior experience in global financial operations.
- Workday Financials certification in multiple modules.
