Job Description

As a Credit Manager - KCC in the Credit (KCC / Agri) function, your role will involve assessing loan applications from potential borrowers, focusing on their financial health, creditworthiness, and agricultural activities. You will work closely with borrowers to explain loan terms, offer advice to mitigate risks, and ensure positive outcomes. Additionally, you will contribute to developing relevant ag-related credit policies in alignment with laws, regulations, and industry trends. Your key responsibilities will include: - Assessing customers sourced by the Agri Sales Team as per credit policy. - Scrutinizing loan applications, KYC, Financial Reports, and Collateral Documents to determine eligibility. - Conducting pre-sanction inspections, field visits, and personal discussions with customers to establish creditworthiness. - Underwriting proposals based on the customer's Agri profile, including Agri land holding, source of irrigation, crops grown, and agricultural experience. - Verifying Credit checks such as RBI default list, dedupes checks, and other mandatory checks as per credit policy. - Analyzing statement of accounts, preparing perfios, and understanding account-related parameters. - Scrutinizing property documents, initiating valuation and legal reports, and analyzing the same. - Maintaining a quick Turn Around Time, ensuring zero Audit and hind-sighting errors, and upholding quality in underwriting to maintain a healthy Portfolio. Qualification Required: - Any graduate, preferably Agri graduates. Experience: - 2 - 3 years of experience in agri credit.
