Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned SAP BDC/Datasphere Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in SAP DataSphere with expertise in system setup, management, and data integration strategies. This is a Full-time and Remote position.
Job Description
What Youll Do
- System Management: Manage SAP DataSphere system setup including sizing, spaces allocation, security, transport, and performance optimization.
- Data Integration: Design, build, and optimize BDC/Datasphere ingestion and transformation flows (Replication flows, Data Flow, Remote tables, SQL view, and Graphical view).
- Python Transformation: Develop Python-based transformations and create repeatable and reusable functions within SAP DataSphere.
- SAP Business Data Cloud: Utilize a minimum of 3 months of experience in SAP Business Data Cloud to enhance data processing capabilities.
- SLT & Connectivity: Work with SLT, Cloud Connectors, DP Agents, and apply SLT server sizing guidelines.
- Data Integration: Integrate data from SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and non-SAP legacy systems across on-premises and various cloud platforms.
- CDS Views Optimization: Enhance, maintain, and optimize CDS views for efficient data extraction.
- Data Extraction: Conduct data extractions from SAP ECC, S/4 into SAP HANA, SAP BW, AWS, Azure, and Data Bricks.
- End-to-End Strategy: Develop an end-to-end data integration strategy ensuring security, scalability, and high performance.
- Non-SAP Connectivity: Utilize expertise in various connectivity options within DataSphere such as Oracle, JDBC, OData, DataBricks, AWS/Azure/GCP, STFP, and others.
- API Ingestions: Manage API-based data ingestions within DataSphere.
What You'll Need
- Overall 10+ years of working experience in relevant fields.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in SAP DataSphere.
- Strong experience in integrating data from various platforms and optimizing data flows.
- Proven expertise in SAP BDC/Datasphere and related technologies.
Physical Demands
- This role involves mostly sedentary work, with occasional movement around the office to attend meetings, etc.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks on a computer, using a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
