Digital Manufacturing Engineer @ Designtech Systems

Job Description

We are looking for a Digital Manufacturing Engineer to drive next-gen manufacturing solutions by leveraging AI/ML, IIoT, robotics, simulation, and additive manufacturing. You will work on optimizing production, predicting maintenance, and enabling virtual validation of manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop & deploy AI/ML models for industrial applications using IIoT data.
• Design and integrate robotics & automation systems to enhance workflows.
• Build digital twin & simulation models for virtual commissioning.
• Implement cloud & edge computing solutions for real-time manufacturing data.
• Apply data analytics for predictive & prescriptive insights.
• Lead additive manufacturing initiatives for rapid prototyping & tooling.
• Apply DFA/DFM principles to improve product manufacturability.

Requirements:

• B.Tech in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience with AI/ML, IIoT, robotics (ABB/KUKA/FANUC), and simulation tools (Tecnomatix, 3DS).
• Proficiency in Python/R/SQL and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Knowledge of additive manufacturing processes.
• Strong problem-solving & innovation mindset.
